Description
You will leave this class with professionally filmed showreel footage.
As an actor you must be adaptable and know how to take direction. Often this can be daunting and corrections can sometimes feel personal. This workshop aims to encourage spontaneity within the text, and gets you working practically to try out new choices whether they work or not.
You must come prepared with a monologue at no longer than 2 minutes in length.
The first part of the day we will work on these monologues using different techniques and with offers of different choices you could make. We will film these monologues at the end of the day with a professional set-up so you are able to add this to your showreel if you choose to.
The class is run by Director & Acting Coach, Craig McKenzie. Craig works for The London Meisner Company and freelances at Central School of Speech and Drama, East 15, LIPA. GSA, and NFTS. As a director he works in Film, Commercial, Theatre, and Musical Theatre under his production company, Mint Face.
