Encountering Viewpoints for Actors — One Day Workshop

This one-day intensive workshop offers actors a rigorous and playful encounter with Viewpoints as a performance practice that sharpens instinct, deepens presence, and strengthens stagecraft.

Working physically and relationally, actors are supported to release self-censorship, respond with readiness, and trust impulse in the moment. Through improvisation and physical exploration, participants awareness of time, space, and relationship — essential tools for working truthfully and dynamically on stage and screen-are refined and heightened.

The workshop invites actors to work at the edge of certainty, welcoming not-knowing as a creative state. The emphasis is on freedom, responsiveness, and pleasure in the work, with tools that translate directly into rehearsal rooms, auditions, and performance contexts.

Suitable for actors at any stage who have encountered Viewpoints before, or who are new and curious about the practice.

A one-day immersive Viewpoints workshop for actors seeking greater presence, freedom, and instinct on stage and screen. Led by Mandy Gordon, this session supports performers to release self-censorship, lean into play, and work confidently in the unknown.
