Description
Discover a more physical, playful and confident way into Shakespeare.
This practical workshop explores how Physical Characterisation Techniques (PCT) can unlock Shakespeare’s text, characters and situations. Working with tools such as elements and archetypes, we will experiment with different ways of bringing the text off the page and into the body.
Ideal for actors looking for fresh approaches to Shakespeare, whether for auditions, rehearsal or performance.
Please prepare a short Shakespeare monologue you would like to explore.
This workshop can be taken on its own or as a continuation of Actors, Character and Presence.
