find enjoyment in self-taping! The session will be led by Emmy-nominated casting director Gemma Hancock, an acting coach with 25 years’ casting experience.
The Workshop Session
You will be given a scene from a TV drama in advance, and we will work on the
material in the session with the other actors.
We will work on characterisation and status, pace, noticing and using scene
shifts and how to make a performance your own
The session will also focus on self-taping – covering shot size, set-up, readers,
and how to enjoy the process
There will be a Q & A at the end of the session with tips on casting, auditioning,
and general industry advice
