Description
Have you ever wanted to mine your lived experience and transform it into
art?
In this immersive workshop, Hannah will guide you through a process of making
the often tricky transition from lived experience to fiction. Using storytelling,
imagination, visualisation and character excavation, you’ll take a remembered
experience and begin to transform it into a fictional character and world.
Through a series of playful and practical exercises, you’ll get the opportunity to
swim in memories that matter and discover if there is a story inside you that’s
yearning to be told.
The aim is not to create a finished piece in three hours, but to give you a
starting point: a fictional character and a world that you can continue to
develop into your own work.

to imagine any of them will offer more passion or sincerity than this one”. –
Natalie Haynes, Guardian review for The Burning Tower.
“Hannah gives me confidence, insight and the joy otherwise lacking in the selftape process, and as I send it off, I do so with pride knowing it is a far better
audition than it would have been without her”. – Rachael Stirling, actress.
