Description

Would you like to feel more grounded, more exploratory and freer as an actor. Then this class is for you.
Ed Woodall integrates Feldenkrais, Lecoq and his own unique take, born out of 30 years as an actor, director and teacher, to invite you  to take bigger risks.
Open to novice and expert alike, and jumping off from the three risks that Rainer Maria  Rilke advised a younger poet to take, Ed will lead you through some basic fooling, some expressive movement and finally some awareness work to ground, expand and delight your inner and outer creativity.
Bring a speech and a character to work on, clothes you can move in.

Ed is an actor, director and teacher.

He trained with Jacques Lecoq.

He has worked in Hollywood, with RSC/NT, and with leading devised companies, Complicite, Kneehigh and Improbable.

Ed has taught at East 15, RADA, Central and LAMDA.

He was the applied movement tutor at Oxford School of Drama from 2009-2019.

He is a trained and experienced Feldenkrais practitioner and has recently had Shakespeare and Lecoq published by Bloomsbury.

“Ed Woodall is thrilling, surprising, skilled and generous in equal measure. Whatever he is doing, it works!”

Emma Rice.

“Ed Woodall is a shining lantern of creativity. Creativity and curiosity flow from him like light from a bulb.”

Tom Morris.
